With the extensive functions offered by ProjectLINKER 2007 and the intuitive, visual interface from Mindjet ® MindManager ® Pro 7 you can develop and plan your project tasks, project phases, task dependences and resources, directly from the enterprise-resource pool of the Microsoft® EPM-Solution, without specific project knowhow. The mindmapping structure allows an initial, simple brainstorming and structuring of ideas and information. With this structure you have all the information which is relevant to the project at one glance.

Specify and update your project plans

Further detailed planning like project structure planning, milestone definition, resource planning in detail and progress monitoring can be accomplished in Microsoft® Office Project 2003 or in the Microsoft® EPM-Solution.

Now, with the help of ProjectLINKER 2007, you can save this information as a project in the Microsoft® Office Project Server 2003. During the saving process, the project is generated automatically, the resources are allocated, and the project can be edited immediately.

If you do not use Microsoft® Office Project 2003 Server at the moment, you can of course save this project as a Microsoft® Office Project Standard 2003 or Microsoft® Office Project Professional 2003 file. If your enterprise decides to employ Microsoft® Office Project Server 2003 at a later date, you are able to import project files into it at any time.

Evaluate and present your projects

ProjectLINKER 2007 enables an update of the project in the Mindjet ® MindManager ® map. By that, you are able to stay up-to-date on the latest progress of the project immediately. Now it is possible to evaluate and present the current project state. Graphical indicators of the Mindjet® MindManager® can be used for these tasks as well as for visualizing the project history. Additionally, at any time current projects can be imported with ProjectLINKER 2007 into Mindjet® MindManager®. They are dynamically connected to the project immediately.
