Project KickStart is the leading project management solution for small to mid-size projects.
Its two-way integration with MindManager creates a powerful toolset for brainstorming, planning and scheduling everyday work projects.

Start by brainstorming your project in MindManager. Then click the Project KickStart icon to send your mindmap to Project KickStart. Next, use Project KickStart's planning wizard to refine your plan and assign resources. Your plan automatically displays in Project KickStart’s Gantt chart for scheduling and tracking. Print three styles of Gantt charts and unlimited task reports, to-lists and resource assignments.

Or, start your project planning in Project KickStart! Use the project planning wizard to help you think through the project. When done, export the project to MindManager and display your plan as a visual mindmap.

For individuals like myself, who may not be full-time project managers, Project KickStart 4, is a very well thought out application to help you plan small to medium sized projects with the ease and confidence of a seasoned project manager. Having worked through several projects with Project KickStart 4, I was really impressed with how the wizards and the Advisor dialogs made me carefully think through the project management process so that the outcome was realistic and manageable. I would have to say that Project KickStart 4 is in fact a very easy to use project management software application that delivers on its promise to get you up an running within 30 minutes without the need to have an advanced degree in project management. In a future post, I will talk about the integration of Project KickStart 4 and MindManager Pro 7, which I'm sure will be of interest to you. Check out how MindManager 7 and Project KickStart work together. http://assistivetek.blogspot.com/2007/12/project-planning-with-mindmanager-7-pro.html

As principal author of Project KickStart, I appreciate Brian Friedlander's reaction to the software and to its integration with MindManager Pro 7. There are two way links between the programs. You can start in MindManager and then export to Project KickStart for finalizing and detailing your project plans. Or, you can start in Project KickStart and use the project planning Wizard to brainstorm and scope out your project, and display the plan in a mind map.
